I don't mind it when the candidates try to show that they have a sense of humor or have feelings. I do not want a robot making decisions that can have a major effect on me.
With that being said,that is not all I am worried about. Let's hear your stances on evberything effecting America. Don't just do the same ol he said, she said B.S!! Pointing out facts about each other ok, belittleing is not ok. Leave the mockery to the American public. Just answer the questions the voters have for you. Unfortunatly most of the public is too stupid to understand the true ramifications of their choices and actions. So I guess either way we're screwed!!!

He is riding a smart and clever campaign. A campaign that is easy for him to take on issues with realistic candidates. And clever one liners for applause.
He is the placebo of politics for those that are sick of both parties.... His cure for our problems invites more infection from the world,those that just flat out wants to kill us and could give a rats ass about Paul's spread eagle appeasement.

LTL -- the way I see it , the powers that be already have this thing wrapped up and done .. i.e. none of the votes mean shit they get who they want (there are already too many of their interests vested in modern times)..
the government is crooked and fucked , period ... Because somewhere in the course of history someone let the wrong group of powerhungry assclowns in to office over and over and over again ....

You make a good point..Somewhere in the course of history someone did f**k up... They brought us to the point where everything is so pivotal and crucial..REALITY.. But the decisions the United States have made have also brought us from isolationists to the strongest and most influential country in the world.
Their decisions...Trumans bombing Hiroshima and Nagasaki, saved hundreds of thousands of American lives (including my grandfather's). The often confusing alliances with the rebels in Afghanistan helped further push the Soviet Union into tearing down the wall in Berlin....
Other confusing alliances....with Saddam Hussein in the Iraq/Iran war was to tame an Ayatollah that was 1,000 times worse than Ahmedinejad...remember the hostages???
Even Bill Clinton and his action in Bosnia/Hersgovingia..squashed what the media at the time had reminisced back to the hot spot of the onset of WWI...
Brother, you got the wrong guy pegged as "can never win"....
Having that attitude is packing up and ignoring your neighbors...That is your boy Ron Paul...
As for watching from my living room??? Yeah. I am now...But I have served with the best...and I don't recall any of them wanting to pack up and go home...

All this being said THeins...I am NOT criticizing you personally. As I said I admire your loyalty to Paul's cause. I read your posts and know that you care about America, just like we all do here on this site.
I am only attacking Ron Paul and his beliefs. The attitude that Paul brings is that if one does not agree, then they are not for progress or fools for the system.... That is far from the case and totally wrong of him to carry that guidon. I think a "movement"(I am trying not to use the word "change"LOL!) is in order to shake things up in Washington no doubt....But I think Ron Paul is usurping a cause that he is not capable of handling without being a danger.

Well said, LTL. I agree completely. A lot of what Paul says is right - a lot of what he says makes sense. But, when he tosses the "rights" and "sensibles" in with his constant need to blame America first, then he loses so many, including me. His flippant disregard of the enemy is dangerous.

The main point I try to make when shilling for Ron Paul is simple ... The other candidates will not change anything in fact they have no intention of doing anything about anything ... It will truly be more of the same ...
We are all smart here politically and we all know that Rudy , Hitlary , Edwards , Obama , Romney , McCain , Huckabe , etc . DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE CITIZENS ... they would rather seize the power that Bush has laid out for them .. A Ron Paul vote is the Vote for the common man , and not some more of this corporatist bullshit ...
Ron Paul just gave back 75,000 dollars of his congressional salary ( like he does every year) .. to help ease the taxpayers ... when's the last time any of the others did that ??? ... he's totally against government greed , lobbyists , and wasteful programs .... obvioussly more conservative than all of the others .
His view of non-interventionism ( i'll assume you wrote isolationism as a typo) .... is a bit different than what we're used to , but you would be crazy if you don't think america needs a little bit of it every once in a while .
Truthfully speaking when Ron Paul gets into office there is not much that he can do constitutionally to get all the troops home other than end the senseless war with Iraq .... So you shouldn't get all worked up over that stuff . the wheels of the federal government move slow ...
Jump over to youtube and just watch some of the stuff about him and the truth ... and I'm sure you can see it for what it is a little clearer ..
In other news : When I heard the Allman show clip of the Iranian trick I was pissed off .... Furthermore , Crane shouldn't be allowed to talk about him on air anymore because he doesn't have any informative news to back the slander up ... Allman on the other hand doesn't like him but still has sensible rationale why not .

heres a nugget for everyone who is uninformed of the council on foreign relations ( CFR ) : the only two candidates ever to get the republican nomination that weren't members of the CFR since , it was created in 1921 , were Ronald Reagan and Barry Goldwater .. That is relevant because 1. The candidates always try to emulate those two guys . 2 . Ron Paul is the only candidate on both sides of the aisles (minus kucinich)who is not a member . 3 . Barry Goldwater Jr. Endorses Ron Paul and Campaigns for him .

Ron Paul will NOT be prez... He has NO foreign policy, which is of utmost importance in ANY prez' race. We CANNOT sit idly by whilst our neighbors are raped, murdered and plundered. If we don't keep the Islamo-facists at bay, we'll be subserviant to them before long. We'll have our women-folk all wearing burkas and the guys will be wearing our bath robes and towels on our heads.... NOT what I picture America doing. I think that Fred is most likely not going to win either, but he has the best policies, as far as I'm concerned... .he's the most level the most conservative it seems. I'd sure like to see MSM give him more attention. Rudy and John and Mike have taken the limelight for the past few months, it seems, BUT, the convention hasn't happened yet... Yes, some, I repeat SOME of the stuff Ron Paul says makes sense, but his isolationist views make him unattractive to a lot of us... He's gathering a lot of support from the anti-war groups as well... but probably not enough to garner enough votes to make the cut...
