There's some sense in the bill since it puts oil companies on notice that unlimited price increases are being watched. But there's no real definition of "gouging". Still, oil companies and their reps are feigning outrage when it fact they are relieved that our reps are so lazy. This way it appears something major is being done in Washington, when in fact the real ballsy work is being left undone.

If everyone took 10 minutes a day, and e-mailed several senators, covering all the senators in all the states, it would only take a few days. Tell them they need to protect THEIR citizens in their states, to protect THEIR citizens of THIS country. Tell them that you have friends and family in their state, you have discussed this bill, and if the senators want continued support from your friends and family, they will vote as the voice of the people, and not to placate Big Business and Money

I wish you could see the letter I got back from Jerry Costello My House Rep on S.1348. Telling me about all the " security measures " in the bill 370 miles of fence. ( What happened to the 600 miles? ) Hiring 18,000 new border patrol officers. ( I thought that was also done years ago ) In the last few lines he assures me they will " reduce the flow of illegal immigration " Hea Jerry it doesn't matter what type bread you use on it, it's still a sh** sandwich.
