Start The Revolution Without Them

I'm sure they can't wait to tell their lawn guys and their donors. What they refuse to tell Americans is that Lady Liberty's illegal immigration enema is complete.
Anyway. Wow.
The first day of breathing for baby Bull Moose America and she gets 518 hits in nine hours and 66 kisses in the form of great comments from passionate American citizens. This after about one hour of mention on the "Allman in the Morning" show on 97.1 FM Talk in St. Louis.
In a few graphs I'll tell you how to grab the Bull Moose directly.
So who says Americans don't care? Americans are hungry for common sense and the dignity of doing what's right. I've heard the punditry class harrummph about how the lack of voter turnout in American elections is a sign that Americans just don't care and are too stupid to grasp the importance of how blessed they are to have TWO choices in an election and among those choices the sons and wives of people who were elected before. But the reality is Americans young and old learn nearly on a daily basis-and indeed learned this week -that the process truly does not belong to them. What a tragedy it is to hear young citizens and older ones talk of "bowing out". Let's get the other half of America voting again and voting smart.
Where do we go from here?
My goal for Bull Moose America is not to breed cynicism. We already have that. There are good people in Washington and we need to keep them that way. But we also need to put the sell outs--as well as future candidates-- on notice that we still own their chair. I want Bull Moose America to be a driving lobbying force in American politics because we love America and we expect our politicians to think beyond self preservation and dollars and love it the same way we do. Our representatives need to be on notice the same way TR put them on notice 100 years ago: you RENT our vote. The Monarchies that are establishment Democrats and Republicans have been overfed with trust and citizen passivity. Our goals? Common sense and Constitutional heritage playing a major role in Immigration, Taxation, Protection of the Unborn Life, Spending, National Security, Crime, Education and the Environment. It can be argued that our Founding Fathers never envisioned such a massive Government fueled by Crown like taxation, and certainly never envisioned a Government that survived on keeping the American public doped and ignorant. WE have so much power. How did we ever hand it over to Party Chairmen?
We owe our children the inheritance of ownership and involvement in the future of our Great Nation. They're not going the achieve it defaulting to traditional partisan compartments.
So welcome to the new American Town Hall. Your comments on posts here are always welcomed and encouraged. But some of you have a helluva lot to say. My email address is BullMooseAmerica@gmail.com
Feel free to submit a Post in essay form (shorter the better) or to suggest another viewpoint. I want Bull Moose America to be a monster. I want Senator McCaskill to be forced to want to earn a Bull Moose stripe. Same for Senator Bond. Congressmen Clay and Carnahan don't have to give a damn but let's make them. But we still have a lot of ground on which to build our tent. I hope at some point we can have a Bull Moose America Bar B Que and maybe even a few forums. We own this country boys and girls. Let's make the most of it. Let's make sure our children are left with a political system that resembles them and the America TR tried to give us.

On the Immigration issue, it's interesting how the media is being ever so compliant in describing illegal immigrants as "upset" with the new deal. Illegal Immigrant apologists have unveiled a brilliant strategy of driving the whole "Illegals hate it, it's gotta be a great deal" ruse. The mainstream media has been selling that jive all day long.
What's worse are such explanations coming from grown men (who evidently forgot to grow two things that I can count so far): "well they're here already..what the heck are we gonna do?" Sure. Spend 20 years failing to enforce the laws and our borders and then punish all Americans in the mop up.
And let's wrap things up with the Bull Moose America "Bull Crap Of The Day".
How about the mainstream media suddenly thinking a non establishment candidate is cool! So, Tom Tancredo is a bigot, but Ron Paul , an on the record anti-Zionist and isolationist , is a "maverick"? Oh..right. He opposes the Iraqi war and blames America first. MSNBC does mention Tancredo and Hunter and Huckabee, but guess who gets the Rock Star status?

The immigration bill is nothing more than a slap in the face for the thousands of migrants, legally waiting in the immigration lines. It's also nothing more than a 'smoke & mirrors' appeasement plan, designed to make citizens 'think' the government is 'doing something' about immigration. For immigrants (specifically, the Mexican Reconquistadors), it rewards criminals, and pushes aside those who wish to assimilate into our country. Glad to see that not everyone in our country has fallen for this sham.

I heard numberous comments by both sides. Love the one about how this is too much for Illegals to cope with. It's either too hard on their families if they have to go back to their country of origin, or it's too expensive to pay the $5000 fine. I find this logic laughable. These people broke a law. Why should we feel any empathy for them at all. They made a decision, and they should be forced to live with the consequences. Even my 3 and 5 year old daughters know that one. What disappointed me the most was Senator McCain's comment that this bill will help border security. No it won't! It will invite more people in. And if you think about it, with this date hanging out there where everyone here before the date gets amnesty, as a terrorist, you now know just how long you have to get into the country before we really start checking you. Not really making me feel safe.

I was a consultant to the government right out of college. I never saw so much waste and apathy. I would entertain supporting a bill if I did not know that: 1) we already did this in the 80's and did not work; 2) I don't care what they say this will tighten the border, the government officials are not going to do it and block the proper measures to properly secure it.

This issue is one of my biggest hot buttons. Everyday more and more illegals are entering our country unchecked and unsupervised. We have no idea who they or what they intend to do while they are here. The politicians don't care who they are as long as they vote for them in the next election. This feeds into my disgust of people out there that say that making people produce a valid state ID in order to vote is "racist". No its not!! It is how we keep the elections clean from non-citizens who entered this country by breaking laws and then demand rights. If I get arrested for theft am I going to get amnesty? If I get arrested for fraud am I going to get amnesty? The answer is no, but these thieves and cons are going to get it. It drives me nuts! But I digress.

Another thing about the bill that no one has brought up is the Touch Back provision. In reality a person DOES NOT have to go back all the way to that persons country. In fact all that person has to do is go to his/her embassy if they have one here in the U.S. and that would satisfy the Touch Back provision because an embassy of a country IS considered part of that country that it represents.
